Spain NLV Income Calculator

Check whether your income meets the financial threshold for Spain’s Non-Lucrative Visa — based on the IPREM formula for your household size.

Spain’s Non-Lucrative Visa (NLV) requires applicants to prove they have sufficient passive income to live in Spain without working. The threshold is based on the IPREM (Indicador Público de Renta de Efectos Múltiples), Spain’s public income indicator, which is updated annually.

The main applicant needs 400% of the annual IPREM, and each additional dependent adds 100% of the annual IPREM to the requirement. For renewal applications covering a two-year period, the threshold doubles. This calculator applies the current IPREM values and shows you exactly where you stand.

About This Calculator

The NLV Income Calculator uses Spain’s official IPREM values to compute the exact annual income threshold for your household size. It supports both initial applications (1-year period) and renewal applications (2-year period, which requires double the initial threshold). If you provide your liquid savings, the calculator also shows how many months of any income shortfall they could cover.

All calculations happen in your browser — no personal data is sent to any server. The IPREM values are updated when Spain publishes new figures in the Boletín Oficial del Estado (BOE).
